From Tokyo to Matsuyama: about 800 km.
Every two weeks, we travel back to strip walls, lay floors, and repair old fittings. Little by little, we are carrying my grandmother's house into its next chapter.

About TABINOMA
While continuing my work as a hairstylist in Tokyo,
I have been traveling to Matsuyama, Ehime, to restore my grandmother's 60-year-old house
with the help of others.
We are not replacing everything old.
What can remain, stays.
New time will gather on top of the years
already held by this house.
That is the kind of place we are making.

Rooms that keepthe memory of the house.
Living Room (Tatami Room)
A tatami sitting room with a low table, looking out toward the garden.
Private Bedroom
A private room with two single beds, retaining the texture of the wooden ceiling and walls.
Futon Bedroom
Shown with two Japanese-style futon sets laid directly on the tatami floor. The room retains its tatami and wood.
Kitchen
A kitchen with the old cupboards kept in place and the essentials for your stay.
Garden
A garden path from the gate to the entrance, softly lit at night.
Bedding
Up to 5 guests can stay.
The private bedroom has two single beds. The tatami room has three Japanese-style futon sets, laid directly on the tatami floor for sleeping.
